From April 11 to 15, 2024, the China-ASEAN Nanning Intangible Cultural Heritage Week unfolded in Nanning, People’s Republic of China, featuring captivating performances by artists hailing from various ASEAN nations alongside China.
The event, organized by the China-ASEAN Intangible Culture Week committee, saw participation from artists representing the Department of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, as well as performers from ASEAN countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and China.
The rich cultural tapestry of China and ASEAN was vividly displayed during the festivities, highlighting the intertwined nature of their shared heritage. Strengthening cultural ties and fostering collaboration in the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage were central themes of the event.
